A NUMBERS STATION
An interactive interface for users to click between numbers from 1-9 in English and Spanish. Inspired by numbers stations - shortwave transmissions from foreign intelligence agencies sending encrypted messages. Sound samples taken from: http://www.signalshed.com/THEREMIN RADIO
A hypothetical radio station that switches between three channels - the NYPD, birds, and satellites. The NYPD channel is live and the frequency was found from Radio Reference(https://www.radioreference.com/db/browse/ctid/1855) and received on CubicSDR with my antenna. The satellite signals were also picked up from CubicSDR and my antenna but were recorded instead of live. The bird sounds are a mixture of field and archival recordings (BBC sounds). The sounds can be modulated by a connected Moog Theremini, which is programmed to be a midi controller. 
STARLINK AVIAN SERVICES
An absurd performance between 'Elon Musk' and a prospective bird customer and her mother. Elon Musk has made the first ever avian satellite service at Starlink and is trying to sell it and the 'beaktenna' that comes with it. The performance is programmed so that live mic input blocks birdsong, to create a realistic conversational effect between the two voices. The pitch and volume of the varying sounds (live input and samples) are controlled by a theremin midi controller.
